Joseph has over two decades of experience in protecting and restoring wildlife and their habitats in the Pacific Northwest. During his career, Joseph has successfully collaborated with various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and local communities, to advance conservation initiatives. 

Prior to this, Joseph gained experience as a wildlife technician with BLM, performing wildlife surveys. His current work focuses on promoting wildlife coexistence through mitigating human-wildlife conflicts. Joseph obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology from Edgewood College and a master’s degree in environmental science from the University of Idaho.

Joseph lives in southern Oregon with his family and can often be found on the trail or river exploring one of the many wild places in the Pacific Northwest.
