Daniel Franz
Daniel’s litigation and legal advocacy work involves the protection of endangered species and their habitat across the country.
Before joining Defenders, Daniel was an environmental litigator as a legal fellow at Earthjustice and an Associate Attorney at the public-interest firm Terris, Pravlik & Millian LLP. He received his legal education in the West, earning a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School with a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law and Policy. As a law student, Daniel began his practice in wildlife law as an intern for Defenders of Wildlife. Before law school, he earned a B.S. in Environmental & Ecological Engineering from Purdue University.
