“Today’s guilty verdicts in the trial of Derek Chauvin for the killing of George Floyd are important steps in addressing centuries of injustice and systemic racism in America. Defenders of Wildlife expresses its support for the Floyd family and hopes that these convictions lead to healing in the Minneapolis community.
